What is consciousness and can it be changed?
By definition, consciousness refers to your unique thoughts, memories, feelings, sensations and environment. It is how you personally experience the world around you. So how do you develop a consciousness? Typically, it is influenced by your parents, society, teachers, friends, and now even social media has a huge impact on how we perceive the world around us. Ethically, I could never perform a tarot reading from someone born under the age of 18. This is because legally that person is still considered to be a child and is not mature enough to make their own decisions. They are still being molded by their parents who influence, or sometimes control, their world and how they perceive their world. The question is, are you forever stuck with the same consciousness you were born with? Actually, the real question is, can you dissolve away the influence that warped your perception, so you may remember your own personal consciousness you were born with? Or is consciousness something that can only be developed here on earth? So many questions to make your head spiral.
The first one through seven Major Arcana cards speak of what creates consciousness. Racheal Pollock dives deep into this philosophical understanding of the tarot. Though i do not agree with all of her writings, I am greatly drawn to this part of her theory. Mainly because my first tarot class was heavily influenced by her work even though my teacher used the Thoth tarot deck instead of the Rider Waite- Pamela Cole Smith tarot deck. Racheal Pollock states that most human beings will never reach past the first line of consciousness in the story of the Major Arcana, this I do agree with and have witnessed time and time again when I ask my friends and family what their biggest goals and dreams are. Most of them all sound the same, retire, buy a house, and have a family. This is the influence of society, which is connected to the number five, Hierophant card. Turning to someone or something outside of yourself to dictate your decisions. Instead of looking within, you seek outside influences such as a Priest, Gordon Ramsey, or even celebrities to tell you exactly what you should do in order to succeed and feel whole in this lifetime. The Emperor and The Empress relates to your parental guidance. What is your ideal version of the perfect woman and man? How do they dress? What are their beliefs? What do they do in their day-to-day life? The Lovers relates to how your relationships influenced your life, which will dictate the decisions you make in the future, which creates what kind of person you ultimately become. Then there is the Magician and the High Priestess. These cards represent the version of you who is trying to make something of themselves using the tools available to you, and the version of you you keep hidden away and the one who yearns for more. Kinda like your Sun sign and your Moon sign in astrology. Then there is the Chariot. This card is defined by how much will power you control. What drives you? What influences your decisions? What are you made of? Where are you going in your life and do you have the power to get there? So, what does your consciousness tell you about you?
Tarot is a great tool to help better understand yourself and your state of consciousness. It is a mirror. To help reflect back thoughts, patterns, solutions, and to guide you towards where you want your Chariot to go. Consciousness is something that happens instantaneously. You don’t really think about your consciousness when you are living and experiencing it. It’s just there. It already exists. The choices you make as to why you like someone or not, what your ideal version of ultimate abundance is. Some people think the best possible version of abundance is when you are flying on a private jet to Bali with an endless amount of disposable income. I believe those people are mostly earth signs. While another person’s ideal version of abundance is an endless source of knowledge at their disposal. Your consciousness tells you which college to apply to, which job is your dream job, your favorite song, the way you do your make-up or hair, all these things are defined by your consciousness. So why do some people have the favorite color red and others their favorite color is blue? Between the lover of red and the other blue, what prompted them to decide which their favorite color was? Personally, my favorite color is red because my aunt one day told me I looked really good in red. So I started to wear more red and that was the day I decided my favorite color was red. Before that, I tended to choose the colors my mom liked, which was green and purple. Though I knew deep down it wasn’t really my choice. I was influenced by my mom because I didn’t know how to be original or choose for myself. In a way, I still was influenced by someone else. Though I saw what she saw. I compared other colors to my skin, noticed reactions I got when wearing certain colors, and low and behold, red got me the most attention. And since I am an Aries who loves attention, I kept the color red as mine. I decided officially that red is my favorite color because of all those reasons. I didn’t wake up one day and decide on red. I was guided in that direction. Can you find the reason as to why you have your favorite color? If not, maybe consciousness is something we are born with.

3 of swords – The Labyrinth Code was created to help those experiences the pains of life. “That’s life.” I’m sure many people have heard that phrase on more occasions than they wanted to hear. Though, the life they are talking about is “this reality” that has been created for us. And we all accept it. Accept it for what it is because many people believe that one person cannot not make a big enough difference. that simply is not true. The girl who inspired and lead the way to help Gaza is proof. Joan of Ark. Albert Einstein. martin Luther king Jr. These are all people who inspired and created change. That is what this system is meant for. To help inspire those who truly believe in change. The first change that needs to happen is the change within yourself, then others, then the world.
8- of cups- If this book is in your possession, the universe is asking you to walk away from what you currently know and believe. “Become no one to become someone.” – Dr. joe dispense. We are not asking you to change over night, it will take years, Sorry to disappoint you but this is no quick fix or a 30-min how-to video on YouTube to satisfy your instant gratification. Just as a seed needs time to grow, it needs time to be nurtured. Think of this system as the water your seed needs. You may be outcasted, looked upon with disapproval, and the fight, flight or freeze instincts within you will come to the surface. Your body and mind have been programmed to believe certain things, and now we are asking you to believe in a higher power. A higher version of yourself. A higher calling. Their is no small calling. Again, if you are reading this, you have a greater purpose in this current state of the world. it is not a mere coincidence. As that sentence has been written, I remember the feeling of rolling of the eyes. Yea yea I have heard it all before, Though what if I told you I can prove your calling is real? I can prove your purpose. We do not care how long it takes. We will always be here waiting for you when the doubt subsides. There maybe times when you feel fear and run back to your old reality. That is perfectly fine. We will be here waiting for you when you are ready again. And you will be. Unless you’re an Aries and you might reject this all together because we are trying to tell you what to do. Never the less, this is the first step towards walking away from the life you once knew, to find the inner abundance life has been calling towards you.
2 of crystals- Being on this new path will be a struggle. Finding the balance between your old reality and your new one is not easy. You will be challenging yourself to become aware of what is you and what has been programmed for you. The awareness is key. If you are not aware you cannot reflect. When you have the awareness, you can challenge what has been said or done or the thoughts that pop in your head. Sometimes it may feel you are putting on a show. Whether you are pretending to be ok acting like you always have but deep inside you are screaming because you don’t want to show the real you because fear of judgement. Or you are pretending you are a millionaire because that is what you are currently manifesting. In these moments, it’s important to ask why. Why you acted in this way. And if you can’t hear the answer, this is when a tarot deck can come in handy. I challenge you to not seek out a tarot reader but to answer the question yourself. That is the goal. For you to discover the true depth of where you are along the path. To listen to your inner calling and voice. That is the only voice that truly matters. No one can truly tell you what to do with your life and what is right and wrong in your eyes. Society has given us rules to what is right and wrong and it is our job to abide by them. Think of it like a game. A video game to be exact. You physically can’t fly, but it is possible in your dreams. Your compass is your guiding light. A mother stealing formula for her baby, stealing maybe wrong, but in her eyes its the only choice she has. Every choice defines your path. It defines who you are in the current moment of your life. You can choose right now to become a person who is ready to change their reality and live a life that is meaningful and purposeful. Some choices may feel heavy and others lighter. When your in perfect alignment, every choice feels easy.
6 of crystals – Your purpose is meant to be shared. It doesn’t matter if its meant to be shared with one person or a million, its meant to be shared. One thing for certain about both the 3D and 5D is we all do things in exchange for something. We work a job to earn a paycheck. We help animals because it makes us feel good. Though sometimes, we do not have the capacity to help others because we are struggling. And that’s ok. Even when you have the desire to help, sometimes the best thing we can do is to help ourselves. Maybe giving away your last $5 to a homeless person because we feel guilty and we thing it will make us feel better to get rid of that guilt, isn’t always the best thing. The real questions is, where is the guilt coming from inside of you? Guilty because you have a car and they don’t? Guilty because you think your selfish so this will even out the scales? Every interaction you face is a reflection of something you need to learn. Unless you are currently living in auto-pilot mode. You wont be able to even notice if that is the state you are in. Eat, work, sleep mode. We’re so used to being mad at a co-worker because they forgot to respond to your email that read urgent in the subject line. When maybe the universe is trying to teach us patience or build up the courage to face the person head on instead of writing another passive aggressive email to them to avoid that. We are here helping you in this moment in your life. It’s actually really important right now. If you change, this could be the final push we need to create a new state of reality. But like we said, we will be patient and wait for you when you are ready. There is no time limit. No urgency. This is worth waiting for.
Ace of wands – We are here to light the spark withing your soul once again. So you can wave your wand up high and claim what is meant for you and always will be meant for and never will it pass you by. Though it takes determination, resilience, passion and action towards this new life you wish to have. It’s time for you to claim your power back. It’s time for you to ignite life and whimsy. It’s time for you awaken your creativity. Even if you’re not a creative person. I would say Albert Einstein was extremely creative. He used his logic to discover truth and the only way he was able to think of a new way of thinking was to be creative about it.

Entry 003 – The Labyrinth Code is an evolution of the Tarot. It is inspired by the Tarot, motivated by those who wish to use the Tarot, and created to connect the separation of human kind. During this time of writing The Labyrinth Code, there is a lack of feminine energy in the world. The majority of individuals are motivated by the masculine side. This is a direct repel against such beliefs. We all have a feminine and masculine side. We have forgotten our feminine. Boys don’t court our women, women don’t allow chriverly, and the stress and pressure of what society requires from us has made us forget the balance we all truly need.
One thing I hear the most from those who wish to learn tarot is “it doesn’t click”. Most people want to learn this skill so flash cards were created. The literal definitions of each card are now printed on the cards. Though that is not how we harness it’s power. It comes from within. It comes from trusting your inner guidance, and that comes from your feminine power. The power to receive guidance. To allow it to come forth from a place of stillness and rest and a trust. The masculine wants to get things done, take direct action and in our modern world if it’s not achieved in 30-min or less, most people will give up. The skill though to trust your self and the messages you receive, takes time and patience and undoubted faith in them. There will be a lot of repetition, repeating the same cycles more than once, and a fire to find and keep.
The Tarot is based off of The Fool’s Journey. A path walked for those who wish to embark on a spiritual journey. Most interpretations of the Fool’s Journey require a beginning and an end. The Major Arcana cards can tell you where one is on their current path of life. Are they at the beginning of their journey (cards 1-7) where they are still being shaped by their parents, friends, society and still “finding themselves.”

A human is here to experience all feelings this world has to offer. Hope, fear, shame, love, and doubt. But most of all, the desire to learn why these feelings manifest when they do. Not knowing is why you are here. This experience you are about to embark on will help you remember yourself. You are ready to face the truth. Your truth. After the download you decide red, you look up and the guard is no longer there. You are ready to take a step inside the Labyrinth created just for you.
Entry 004 – The Inversion
The inversion is also known as the Hanged Man. This card can be trouble some as it involves surrending to what is currently happening in your day-to-day life. Where the Hermit is active and intentional when going with in, this card is forced. It is telling you to stop going goin going. It is asking you to trust the process and accept where you are currently along your journey. What current steps you are taking are not working in your life. It is time for you to find a different perspective and surrender.

The Inversion comes after the Flame, the most powerful card in the Labyrnith code. Holder of the Lions gate portal. Once you have this awakening of your truest potential, you can feel trapped, stuck, fusterated and depressed. You have just been awakened to this magnificent realization of the universe. And when you look around, you instantly feel like you don’t belong. This can in itself be traumatizing experience. This is where you surrender to the unknown. You surrender to your current circumstances. You have reached the destination. you are awake. Now you must break free of the chains and bounds that hinder your spirit. This is no easy task. But it must be done.
Inversion definition: a reversal of position, order, form, or relationship. This is the exact method of The Labyrinth Code. You have been taught up until now that time is linear. You know now that it is not. In the Quantum field anything is possible and and infinite possibility of different timelines are available to you to acces. IT is your job to figure out which one you wish to choose. The only way to do that, is to undo everything you once knew. Instead of the linear way of thinking, to flip your perspective upside down and wait for the message to come. The Inversion asks you to flip yourself inside and out. This takes it from a 2D perspective to a 3D. When we get to the labyrinth, you will be in a 5D state. If you feel called, teleport to the Labyirnth chapter now and come back here when you feel called. There is no right or wrong way to learn this system. it is a journey. This is merely a guide. There are infinite possibilities to grasp the labyrinth code. You mission is to discover which works best for you.
Unlike the Labyrinth card, this state of looking inward is not as a journey and not as subtle as the Hermit. It is immediate change and awareness. it is being forced upon you. It is asking you to bring out the part of you that is you, not what was forced upon you. It is asking you to exist in that internal abundant state even when your outside reality doesn’t align with your innner true self. It is asking you to camaflauge yourself, not pretend. To be you in a world where you may not be accepted. This card is a symbol of raw truth. What you have been doing, how you have been living does not work for you anymore. That feeling in itself can make you feel like you are crawling inside your skin. resisting that feeling is what needs to be changed. Allow it to unfold within you. transmute that energy. Feel it in your body of where that feeling resides. That could give you a clue as to what needs to be worked on. If you are familiar with the placement of Chakras this also can be an indicator of where you need to transmute the negative energy. Finding this awareness is your goal with in the inversion. facing the trauma, will be learned within the Nothing. Like I said, this book can be used linearly if the reader chooses to follow that path. Though some neurodivergents don’t like structure or a set path. This book acknowledges your unique way of thinking.

The Labyrinth code was given to me to produce because of its simplicity. There are so many books out there about tarot, mostly revolving around the past. But it seems in this reality, the past keeps getting covered up layer by layer. The only source we have access to is the internet and with google ads it is impossible to find good sources to fact check and “surf the internet”. Almost every book find sources from the past. But for new generations, the past almost is non-existent to them. We are in the age of technological advances that happen so fast it is hard to catch up. And if you read one of those books, the terminology and words and phrases just fly over your head and you have to dig even deeper and learn more about things that don’t interest you just to understand what they are saying. It’s almost like they are trying to confuse you or get you lost. That is the moment people give up and put down there tarot deck. This system changes that. And I know most people are not going to like it. But its not for them. I am not here to change tarot. I have been inspired by it. The last wave of change was by a man who took full credit for a woman’s art work when creating the rider -Waite deck. In an already man’s world, this does not bowed well with me. We need to break free of the masculine energy. With this deck being 93 cards. The numerology of this deck breaks down to 3. The number of feminine power.
My first realization of maybe there was something missing in the Tarot was the number of cards. 78. 7 + 8=15 . One plus five equals 6. In Numerology, it represents domestic life, responbilty, healing and sacrifice bringing peace in relationships. In the bible, which the original rider 0 Waite tarot deck revolved around Christianity and to help bring about Christianity, it symbolizes the human weakness, imperfection and the creation of “man” on the sixth day. Another spiritual meaning of the 6 is harmony and balance. It represents the Lovers card. Bringing material desires and spiritual needs. Though being less than 7, the supreme divine number, this brings out the struggle to achieve spiritual growth and being tarot helps those to achieve spiritual growth I can see the symbolism in that. BUT, again, I feel having the number 6 as its final number keeps us in the state of loop and always trying to reach spiritual awareness but never truly achieve in it. Like how you are always trying to reach your higher self but having the mindset and awareness of that you will never truly ever reach your higher self you will always continue to be chasing it.
Even books like “the one that talks about how our history repeats itself” is a perfect example. And creating a tarot deck about life’s journey can even put a spell on the masses unintentionally or intentionally without the masses realizing it. Rider Waite was part of the Golden Dawn. This is the Illuminati of that time in my opinion. They could have had the power to do so. Jean-Baptiste Alliette, also known as Etteilla, was the first to interpret tarot as a tool for psychic awareness. He was heavily into structured spreads and having everything organized and put together. His deck he created had 79 cards. His 79th card was called the “Le Chaos” representing the primordial state before the universe was formed. We can also maybe call this card God or even the Big Bang Theory. He used this as his designated significator card as Hudson said. A significator card was used to pull out of the deck before a reading to draw in the energy of the queerness, the person who is being read for. 79 broken down equals to 16 which is the Tower card. Also another chaotic card. I like to link the tower with the feeling of a spiritual awakening. Then one plus 6 equals 7. The divine number of the universe. 7 plants, 7 days of the week, 7 main chakras. Going back, before 78 is broken down, it first equals 15, the card of the devil. Do I believe this is a coincidence? Absolutely not. In Christianity, there is always the devil. that keeps us trapped, in a loop of our own making. The devil will never force you to stay, but it will never encourage you to leave. The Tower, strips away everything all at once. But, in every movie, in every story of someone who achieves greatness, they have never not experienced a tower moment to reach spiritual enlightenment. The Tower forces you to get up. The show MAID on Netflix I feel emulates this feeling so well. She hits rock bottom. And when you hit rock bottom, there is only one way to go. And that is up.
There are 93 cards in this deck. Nine plus three equals 12. Exactly what every spiritual seeker goes through. Feeling trapped inside their body and their world they don’t align with. Being so different from their family, their friends, their co-workers, feeling so alienated that it feels like you never belong. And finding your tribe seems like an impossible feet. This though is also part of your journey. This moment is crucial and befor you can reach a place of infinite abundance you have to accept the place you are in currently.

This journey started with thinnkning I wanted 79 cards. But then I realized that there is no deck that represents spiritually. Some people will argue its the wands. But its not as direct. Passion and excitement and action is not spiritual to me. Being spiritual means communicating with a higher power. Not going up against 6 others people waving there wands at you like in the 7 of wands. It is a physical thing…….paasion, creativity, inspiration comes from yourself, not outside your self. It all resides in ourselves but some have an easier time accessing it than others do. Like abundance. Some people have an easier time accessing material wealth and abundance because of how they operate. Same for intuition and overcoming emotions. And having ideas and overcoming your mind. Spirit though encompasses all of that and connect etc them. The pentagram has 5 points. In Chinese culture, the 5th element is known as metal. In the movie, it’s a person. In witchcraft, its spirit. 5 is the number of change. The spirals help you evolve from that change.

4/22 – I would describe the inversion as the silent chaos card. Your outside world could seem amazing to someone who doesn’t know your true inner feelings or thoughts. You have a nice house, investments, a happy family. But inside you are screaming, feeling trapped and so tired of things not going the way you had planned. The hardest thing we can do is to believe in manifestation and everything will be alright, even when outside circumstances shows that not to be true. The moment of surrender may come at a point when you finally give it one last try, but then the same outcome still proceeds to happen. It’s like how people keep talking about the AI bubble is about to pop. They keep going for it, still getting the same outcome, and predictions show eventually the bubble will pop, and then you willl finally realize, all that effort was for not. This is a direct sign from spirit to prevent you or warn you this moment is coming. You may not be able to surrender now or see the bigger picture. But it is coming. And when that moment comes, the weight on your shoulders will lift, you will finally be able to breathe, and a moment of clarity will arise. If you relieve this card with the Ace of swords this is double confirmation for you that clarity is closer than you think. if you receive this with the Tower, is is a double confirmation of a warning to stop what you are currently doing before things get worse.
If you ever feel unsure about what a certain card means, or you feel blocked form the message. Give it time for it to come forth, but rest assured you will keep pulling the same card over and over again until your spiritual teams sees you have grasped the message completely. Though if you want to speed up the process, pull a clarifying card. Cards that I require a clarifying is The Devil, two of Cups, and the Tower. This can give you a different perspective about what exactly needs to be heard. And the Inversion is all about different perspectives.
I feel the Strength card has been overlooked as one of the most important cards in the Tarot. I have yet to find a source as to the exact reason why Strength was originally placed in the 11th position amount the Major Arcana card. Though the reason why it was changed to position 8 is because of the astrogilcal calendar. Though this still does not make sense to me as Aries begins with the number 4, Cancer do not relate to the Chariot card, and the wheel of fortune is also skipped. It is very delerbrate as to the matching of accordance of the astrogicial signs mixed in with the tarot. It is one way to relate to the cards and being an Aries myself I do strongly relate to the Emperor, though I am also a Life Path 1 so I also relate to the magician card. Nevertheless, to have strength is undoubtetbly an important attribute to anyone’s spiritual journey.
In the Thoth Tarot created by Alester Crowley, It is known as the Lust Card. This is very controversial especially given the time it was created, though necessary. Crowley was known as a Mad Man. Or maybe he was to ahead of his time. Sexual energy is key in many different forms of witchcraft and in manifestation. In Napolean Hill’s Think and Grow Rich he discusses men typically achieve their riches after the age of 40 because their sexual desires have depleated and no longer crave to excert them. This feeling of lust also aligns with the Kundalini awakening. This feeling, from experince, can feel a rush of extacy without any drug enhancements. It is a powerful source of energy. Being born a man or woman can give you different experiences when your Kundalini is activated. This is because the vagas nerve is directly connected to the Kundalini. The vagas nerve in born female goes all the way to the top of their head. In a born male the Vegas nerve stops at the bottom of their neck. There is a much deeper reasoning to this that I will not get into, but this possibly could be why women feel more psychic than men or why women have more color receptors than men do.
In The Labyrinth Code, the Strenth card is called The Flame and is number 11. There are 22 Major Arcana Cards, 22 is a very spiritual number in numerology and aligns much better with the mythology of manifestation. Some will argue that technically this deck has 23 major arcana card but that is untrue. The number 0 does not exist. It adds nothing to any number and multiplied is creates everything to be 0. To start over. To begin a new. Which is why 0 is not the Fool, it is the Human. A non-binary card that represents all genders. We are born human and will always be human. If you in the future connect your soul to technology, you are no longer considered human. You are human because you have a body, living organs and a funchitoning brain. The human is considered to be its very own class. It’s not a major arcana card, it is the human experience. The most grounding card in all of the Labyrinth Code.
Entry 006 – 6’s – Wands, Swords, Cups and Pentacles
In Numerology – The number six represents domestic life, responsibility, healing and sacrifice bringing peace in relationships. It also represents and is depicted as the most harmonious and balanced number. In reversed, since this is the number of unconditional love and nurturing, people with the number 6 as their Life Path can also put others first and neglect their own needs and wants.
In the bible– it symbolizes human weakness, imperfection and the creation of “man” on the sixth day. It is also associated with “the number of the beast 666”. The Devil in Tarot is number 15, which breaks down to the number 6. The Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck emphasized Christianity throughout the cards to help spread the religious beliefs across the West. In my opinion, I believe this is why Aurther Edward Waite decided to change the number of The Devil to 15 from Etteilla’s Tarot deck (the first person to ever interpret the tarot) which was the number 14 called Le Diable.
In Astrology – the number 6 is connected to the planet Venus. The planet of Love, Beauty, and Money. It is also connected to the sign Gemini as it correlates with number 6 of the Major Arcana, The Lovers. In my opinion, it could also be connected to Taurus and Libra since Venus rules those particular signs.
(REMINDER: There are many different interpretations and connections to each card, sign, and number. This is because each system like Astrology, The Hermetic Order, The Golden Dawn, Numerology, Kabbalah, etc. use different ways to create their systems. Find the one(s) that sparks interest for you and use those to inspire your own unique interpretations. Tarot is a tool to guide your personal journey.)
Overall meaning of the 6’s in the tarot – This is the pivotal moment for all the suits to start to believe in themselves. It is a spiritual awareness to move forward. When a 6 comes up in a reading, it is a direct sign from the universe you are heading in the right direction and it is time to keep moving forward along your journey.
Coming after the number 5 (always the conflict card among the suits) you can feel more aligned, in balance and harmonious to get to your destination or answer you are seeking when a number 6 comes up during a reading. It is a choice to make (The Lovers) for you to receive what is being given (6 of pentacles), to keep going after the victory (6 of Wands), to overcome the past when you can’t see the journey ahead (6 of Swords), and to enjoy the moment with a long lost friend (6 of Cups). It is the moment of transmutation of energies and using them to propel yourself to where you want to go. It is a moment of resilience, compassion and success to enjoy where you are in life.
These moments are earned, they are not easily given like the Aces. It is a moment of pure alignment and a moment of clarity that the journey has not been for nothing. It is a moment of transition, not the final destination like when a 10 comes up. You are more than 50% along the way towards your goals/manifestation/answer. This is the moment of choice when people turn back because the going gets tough or they feel they have “done enough”. I’m sure many of you have heard of the saying “3ft from gold”. Though when learning Tarot, it’s usually never enough to really understand having the cards “click” for you. What I hope to achieve for you is to grasp the feeling of what the card’s energy is. I hope this sparks a memory for you of a previous life experience you have encountered. The Minor Arcana are all moments/scenes/experiences everyone has lived before. 6 of Pentacles/Coins – (A man walking along the street thinking in his head) I am so tired of feeling hopeless. I have tried, and tried, and tried so many times and somehow I am back right where I started. That’s why I gave up before. That’s why I was stuck. My outside reality is not matching all the effort I have already put into my goals. When is it going to happen? I know I am worthy now but, then he says out loud, “I need help.” Then he bumps right into someone along the street. He immediately says, “Oh excuse me. I am so sorry I wasn’t paying attention to where I was going.”
”No worries,” the person says. “You must have a lot on your mind right now. If you want to talk about it I have some free time right now. I was just going to my favorite coffee shop up the street. let me buy you a cup of coffee and you can tell me all about it.”
“No, no, no. It’s ok I don’t want to burden you.”
”The stranger looks puzzled for a moment. Then he looks down at his shirt and has a moment of clarity on his face and says, “ Oh apologies for my forwardness. I am a pastor and not in my formal attire. Today is my casual Friday so-to-speak. It is unexpected for a stranger to offer up such a gift nowadays huh?”
“Yea, it is unexpected. I guess it’s just easier to believe we have to do things on our own.”
“Well let me see if I can help you. How about that coffee?”
”Sure. Let’s do it. Thank you. I appreciate the gift.”
The next two hours I spoke with the pastor and laid everything out on the table. I didn’t hold anything back. I can’t believe something like this happened to me. I never saw this coming and I am so eternally grateful I was in a place to receive the guidance he had to offer me. That was the sign from the universe I needed to keep going, to not give up. I know these next moments will be difficult and I will have to be patient. It will be all worth it in the end.
As we were getting up to leave, I expressed how thankful I was and wanted to do something in return. He said, “Your expression of gratitude is all I’ll ever need.”
6 of Wands – (A singer from an upcoming band is live on TikTok) Hey fans! I wanted to come on Live real quick to say thank you all for supporting us during this time. Last week at Battle of the Bands was crazy!!! There was so much amazing competition. I will admit, some of the other bands really got in our heads with some friendly smack talk and seeing them get the applause from the crowds. It even caused some internal conflicts within our own group to turn against each other, but we worked through it.
That conflict was probably the best thing to happen because it gave us the passionate boost we needed to help us win the Battle of the Bands!!! I can’t believe we did it!!! We were victorious among all the other five groups. Being us there on that stage was the most intense and spiritual moment of my life. We won the battle, but we haven’t won the war yet. We have a lot of things going against us, mentally, emotionally, physically, and probably four other things I can’t think of right now at this moment. But I won’t dwell on that right now. Right now, I want to share this win with all of you. Thank you so much for all the support and amazing energy from you guys. Let’s enjoy this victory and never forget this feeling.
6 of Cups – Dear Diary, The funeral yesterday was really rough. I almost believed I wasn’t going to be able to survive, but I did. Something completely unexpected happened today. My best friend who lives currently in Rome came to see me today! They are still here actually. Taking a nap and recovering from jet lag. I can’t believe they came. It was so last minute for them they didn’t even have time to tell me. I haven’t seen them since we graduated together. We text, FaceTime but sometimes we go even months without even speaking to each other. We have always kept our connection strong though regardless of the time past. Nothing can sever our bond.
They found out about the funeral on Facebook. They dropped everything they were doing to come see me. When we came home from the funeral we talked for hours. catching up on old times, eating junk food like we did in our dorm room back in the day. That feeling of nostalgia completely recharged my batteries. I never thought I would be laughing today. This was the sign from the universe that everything is going to be ok. I know I am going to have to make some big decisions soon and I have no idea where to even start. Right now though, I just want to enjoy this blast from the past.
6 of Swords – I can’t believe they let me go. I know I wasn’t performing as well as my other colleagues, two of them I would have called even my friends. Well not anymore. I begged them to keep me, but I just dug myself deeper into a hole. With my mind racing I told them what I needed, but they didn’t want to help me. Why didn’t they listen to what I have to say? I don’t know what I am going to do. Wait, what am I doing?
I have been in this mindset and pity party for weeks! Beating myself up and and being hard on myself isn’t going to change anything. My grandma always said, when one door closes another one opens. I have absolutely no idea where this new door is going to lead me but I have to take the leap of faith. Whoah, I just got this amazing feeling of hope and excitement. Yes. I have to keep that faith and trust in myself. I know I can do this. I can’t let these negative thoughts infect my mind any longer. All I know is this happened for a reason. I have to keep moving forward and as long as I believe in myself and not fear what is on the other side of this door, I will be ok. I have to take this risk. Wherever I may end up.
