Hello, and welcome.
My name is Melissa Richards, and if you’re reading this, I’m genuinely grateful you’re here.
For most of my life, I’ve been searching for one question:
How do human beings become who they are desire to become?
That question has led me down countless paths. I’ve studied psychology, spirituality, metaphysics, symbolism, consciousness, personal development, and, of course, tarot. I’ve spent years reading books, attending workshops, listening to teachers, sitting in meditation, asking difficult questions, and, most importantly, living through my own transformations.
Like many people, my life hasn’t followed a straight line.
I’ve experienced uncertainty, loss, fear, reinvention, heartbreak, hope, and moments of profound clarity. I’ve started over more than once. I’ve questioned who I was, where I belonged, and what my purpose truly was.
Looking back, I now realize those weren’t detours.
They were the path.
For over a decade, tarot became one of my greatest teachers. Not because it predicted my future, but because it helped me understand my present. Every card became a mirror. Every reading became an opportunity to see myself more clearly.
Eventually, something unexpected happened.
I stopped seeing tarot as seventy-eight individual cards.
I began seeing a map.
A map of consciousness.
A map of human development.
A map of the choices, emotions, lessons, and transformations every one of us experiences throughout our lives.
That realization became the seed for what is now The Labyrinth Code.
For years, I’ve been quietly developing this philosophy, refining it, testing it, teaching it, and allowing it to evolve alongside my own life. What began as an idea slowly became a language and a new way of understanding personal growth through symbolism, psychology, and conscious awareness.
The Labyrinth Code is not simply another tarot system.
It’s a framework for understanding yourself.
It’s an invitation to recognize the patterns you’ve been living, the beliefs you’ve been carrying, and the choices that shape the person you’re becoming.
This project is still growing.
Today it includes a philosophy, educational resources, workshops, and the foundation for a new way of experiencing tarot.
In the future, my vision is much larger.
I see books that simplify profound ideas.
A beautifully illustrated card deck.
Courses and workshops that help people understand consciousness in practical, accessible ways.
A community of curious people who aren’t searching for someone else to tell them who they are, but are learning to discover that answer for themselves.
My hope has never been to give people answers.
My hope is to give people better questions.
Because the right question has the power to change a life.
